not filling in my application form for Study Abroad and submitting it for my third year. I know that after my final year, I’ll just want to get straight into work but I think finding a placement abroad will definitely be on the cards. I hate this place. I’ve always wanted to go to California or Canada and I just hope I haven’t missed my chance of going there (cheaply).

I had a dream

last night (which I literally just remembered now after reading the #IfIWonTheLotteryTonight trending topic on Twitter) that Ian had won the lottery.

Except it didn’t feel like a dream.

Ian was talking to my mum on the phone, which he was in real life outside of my bedroom door, casually saying that he had just won 16 million pounds.

This was the only reason why I woke up at the time that I did this morning. To my disappointment, we hadn’t won the lottery.

What Ian had really been saying was that he’d be ready by half eleven and that he’d see my mum later on.

My heart sank. I went back to bed, still poor. I don’t like dreams any more.
